Our community involvement

Pebble Beach Company Community Affairs Department serves as our direct link to the local community. We are actively involved with our neighbors on the Monterey Peninsula and in Monterey County.

These initiatives represent some highlights of Pebble Beach Company's community involvement.

• Involved in a number of business organizations including the Monterey Commercial Property Owners Association, Monterey County Business Council, Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, Monterey County Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Monterey County Hospitality Association.
• Participates in several non-profit organizations including the United Way of Monterey County and Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County.
• Maintains close relationships with several organizations in the Del Monte Forest community including the Del Monte Forest Property Owners, Del Monte Forest Foundation and Pebble Beach Community Services District.
• Interacts with local public officials and agencies on community matters of mutual interest.
• Maintains a relationship with the media in coordinating their interest in various stories pertaining to Pebble Beach Company.
• Manages the Company's community support program that provides funding to a wide variety of non-profit organizations within Monterey County. Total funding support from Pebble Beach Company, Pebble Beach Company Foundation and Pebble Beach special events, including the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am and the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, to numerous community organizations averages over $7.5 million annually.

AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am

Pebble Beach Company is a major partner in the annual AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am organized by the Monterey Peninsula Foundation, which has distributed over $100 million in grants to non-profit organizations in Monterey County and surrounding communities since its inception in 1947.

Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance

Pebble Beach Company hosts the annual Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, the premier classic automobile show in the world. Proceeds from the Concours assist the United Way of Monterey County, Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County, Natividad Medical Foundation, Kinship Center, and other local charities. The Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance has raised over $15 million for local, national and international charitable organizations.

Pebble Beach Company Foundation

Pebble Beach Company Foundation is a non-profit organization and the philanthropic arm of Pebble Beach Company. Since 1975, our Foundation has continuously invested where we can make the most significant impact – in the youth of Monterey County. Our grantee programs have benefited more than 10,000 children in Monterey County.

Our Mission... Pebble Beach Company Foundation believes education is the foundation for success. We raise funds and distribute grants to local organizations dedicated to promoting excellence in life experiences for the youth of Monterey County. Pebble Beach Company Foundation grants span the arts, athletics, environmental sciences, educational organizations and community programs.

In 2012, we funded approximately 62 non-profit educational programs and awarded $5,000 merit college scholarships to 20 children of Pebble Beach Company employees.
