TIME-SENSITIVE QUESTIONS

How soon may I reserve my wedding date?

We are pleased to book your wedding a full year in advance of your selected date. Consideration for dates beyond one calendar year may be granted for specific holiday weekends.

Is it possible to have a Catholic ceremony at Pebble Beach?

We can assist in locating a Catholic priest; however, most are not willing to perform wedding ceremonies outside the church.

What steps must I take to secure a date and venue for my wedding at Pebble Beach?

Contacting a Pebble Beach Wedding Specialist is the only action required. We will check the availability of preferred dates and venues, set up your site visit and address all of your questions.

FOR YOUR BUDGET CONSIDERATION

What is the deposit/payment policy?

A deposit representing the total of the room rental fees or $2,000 (whichever is greater) is due two weeks after the event is booked. It is important to note that deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Your wedding specialist will prepare an estimate of charges with 50% due 120 days prior to your wedding and the balance due 45 days prior to the event. Payments may be made by certified check or credit card. A signed credit card authorization form is required to capture any outstanding balance due upon conclusion of your event.

What is the cancellation policy?

120 days or more prior to your event = deposit paid
46 – 119 days prior to event = 50% of estimated costs per contract
45 days or less prior to event = 100% of estimated costs per contract

What is the average cost of a wedding at Pebble Beach?

Weddings range from $10,000 to in excess of $100,000 depending on the venue selected and the number of guests attending. The average budget is in the $50,000 range.

What do you mean by a food and beverage minimum?

Food and beverage minimums refer to the amount of money you are required to spend on food and beverage in a particular venue. This would cover a cocktail reception, lunch or dinner, wedding cake and all beverages.

Are tax and service charge included in the food and beverage minimum?

At Pebble Beach Resorts, tax and service charges are not included in the food and beverage minimum.

Do you have wedding packages?

We do not offer structured packages as we pride ourselves in the ability to customize your wedding to your specifications.

Is there a difference in price for having our wedding on a Friday or Sunday instead of a Saturday?

Your Wedding Specialist will discuss savings offered for specific off-peak days of the week and year.

Do you have different prices for children’s meals?

For children ages 10 and under, meals are offered at 50% of your dinner pricing per child.

Is there a cake-cutting fee if we bring our own cake?

All food and beverages must be provided by Pebble Beach Resorts, thus eliminating the need to have an outside Pastry Chef provide your wedding cake. You will have the opportunity to work directly with our Pastry Chef in the creation of your custom wedding cake.

Is there a fee for bartenders?

Our bartender fees are $200 for the first three (3) hours and $75 for each additional hour per bartender.

Are gratuities included?

A 20% service charge will be assessed on all food and beverage charges.

What is included in the room rental?

We provide our inventory of tables, chairs, linens, staging and dance floor.

What is included in the Ceremony Site Fee?

We provide a complimentary bridal changing room, natural-wood folding chairs, ceremony set up and your Pebble Beach Wedding Specialist to coordinate the rehearsal and the wedding ceremony.

What is not included?

Your marriage license and the officiant are your responsibility. Décor will be handled through Pebble Beach Floral and Event Design.

Can you accommodate physically challenged guests?

We are prepared to accommodate the needs of all guests attending your celebration.

How late can we have amplified music playing?

Amplified music is permitted at most locations until 10 p.m. In the Spanish Bay Main Ballroom, St. Andrews Room and The Beach Club, amplified music is acceptable until 12 a.m.

Do I need to have a wedding planner?

We highly recommend that you consider contracting with one of our preferred wedding planners.

May I use my own Caterer, Florist and Pastry Chef?

All food, beverage, floral and audio visual must be provided by Pebble Beach Resorts.

Are my guests required to stay at Pebble Beach Resorts?

We do not require your guests to stay at Pebble Beach Resorts. We would be delighted to accommodate your guests in one of our three world-class resorts, and can assist you with local recommendations.

May we have a ceremony without a reception at Pebble Beach?

Our ceremony sites are reserved for couples having weddings and receptions.

Do you provide transportation for the bridal party and guests?

The resort operates regular and complimentary shuttle service between all of our properties. Our Resort Transportation Coordinator would be delighted to discuss your needs for dedicated service.

Is it possible to have a luncheon reception at the Beach and Tennis Club?

The Beach and Tennis Club is a member-only venue during the day. We have a variety of options throughout our three resorts available for luncheon events.

Do you hold ceremonies on the beach?

Please consult with your Pebble Beach Wedding Specialist regarding approvals and necessary permits.

May we get married on the Pebble Beach Golf Links?

We currently do not have any ceremony sites directly on our golf courses. All of our ceremony sites are within proximity of the iconic Pebble Beach Golf Links or the Links at Spanish Bay.

May we provide our own favors, escort cards, menus, etc.?

You are welcome to provide your own printed materials. We are always happy to assist with providing a list of artisans we enjoy working with, who offer extraordinary creative design services. Our Pebble Beach Retail Department can offer customized logoed options for your favors.

May I have an outdoor reception?

Dining al fresco in the Pebble Beach Resorts area can be a chilly affair. We do encourage cocktail receptions on our patios and fairway lawns, and have the option to add mobile heaters. Some venues enjoy the addition of fire pits and fleece blankets.

I would like to set up an appointment with one of the wedding specialists to tour the locations. When can we meet and how much time should I allow for the meeting?

We would be delighted to meet with you to familiarize you with our beautiful resort. Please call for an appointment and allow a minimum of one (1) hour, depending on how many of our resort venues you are considering.

Do you have spaces suitable for a rehearsal dinner?

We have a wide variety of locations and dining options for your rehearsal dinner from lovely banquet venues to world class restaurants.

What is the maximum number of guests you can accommodate?

We can accommodate a wedding reception of up to 300 guests at The Inn at Spanish Bay. The Beach & Tennis Club accommodates 200 guests and The Lodge at Pebble Beach accommodates 250.

Will my hotel contact be available on the day of the wedding?

Your Pebble Beach Wedding Specialist will be with you on your wedding day to ensure the flawless execution of your event.

Are there discounts on accommodations and golf if I book my wedding at Pebble Beach?

Depending on the time of year and resort occupancy, a discount may be available. We will assist you with reserving tee times; however, they are subject to our reservation process and availability.

THE FOOD and BEVERAGE EXPERIENCE

How many dinner entrées may we select?

Our chefs are pleased to present two pre-selected entrée options with the addition of a vegetarian selection.

When do I need to finalize my menu?

Menu selections must be finalized at least four (4) months prior to your event.

Do you offer a menu tasting and what is included?

A menu tasting will be arranged through your Pebble Beach Wedding Specialist. Thirty days notice is required.

May we customize our menus?

Award-winning Pebble Beach chefs would be delighted to customize your menu.

Are we required to have an open bar?

We suggest you include an open bar for your wedding reception. We will assist you in customizing beverage and wine selections.

May we bring in our own wine/liquor?

All food and beverages must be provided by Pebble Beach Resorts.

THE LITTLE THINGS THAT MATTER TO US

Do you have indoor locations for the ceremony if it rains?

Yes, we ensure that there is a back-up space available in the event of inclement weather.

Will there be more than one wedding taking place at the same time?

We have multiple wedding locations, each offering the maximum amount of privacy.

Is childcare available?

Pebble Beach Resorts works with a bonded reservation service for all childcare requests.

Is there a dressing room included for the bride and the groom to get ready?

We include one complimentary bridal changing room for each of our ceremony/reception bookings.

May we have wish lanterns, fireworks and sparklers?

Because Pebble Beach Resorts is located within the Del Monte Forest, these items are not allowed at Pebble Beach Resorts.

Does Pebble Beach Resorts recommend photographers, entertainment and officiants?

We offer a comprehensive list to assist with all facets of your wedding celebration.

Must we use Pebble Beach Resorts recommended vendors?

We have extensive experience with those on our list. Vendors not on our list are welcome and asked to complete an external vendor agreement and provide proof of insurance. View our list of recommended vendors.

Is it possible to have a rehearsal for the ceremony?

We highly recommend a rehearsal prior to your wedding ceremony.

May we host all of our events at Pebble Beach Resorts?

From rehearsal dinner to bridal brunch, our resort is set up to offer entirely different experiences for each event.

What services do your Pebble Beach Wedding Specialists provide and is there a fee?

Our wedding specialists are a vital part of your Pebble Beach Wedding Experience, guiding you with their expertise through every phase of wedding planning and execution. There is no additional fee for this comprehensive service.

May I bring my own pictures and ideas for floral arrangements and décor?

The Pebble Beach Floral and Design Team are delighted to incorporate your images in the creation of the wedding of your dreams.

What are the fees for parking?

There are no parking fees associated with any of our properties.

May we include our pets in the wedding ceremony?

We are happy to include your furry friends; however, there are guidelines that we will share with you during the planning process.

Can Pebble Beach Resorts make arrangements for our marriage license and our officiant?

Our Pebble Beach Resorts Recommended Vendor List offers a list of officiants we have enjoyed working with over the years. Acquiring a marriage license is your responsibility and may be a service offered by your officiant.

Do we have to provide any insurance coverage for our guests?

We feel that is in your best interest to purchase event insurance for your peace of mind.
