The Excellent People Watching at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance

You could say the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is the preeminent fashion show of the car world.

The Concours is not a contest of speed, but of elegance. Automobiles and motorcycles are judged for their historical accuracy, their technical merit and their style—and the best garner reward and recognition.

These beauties will be rolled out on the most captivating catwalk you can imagine — the iconic 18th hole at Pebble Beach — on Sunday, Aug. 26.

But they’ll have some competition. The people watching at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is extravagant. Here are a few sights that might be fighting for your attention next weekend:
