Pebble Beach Company Foundation currently receives funding from the annual Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance vintage automobile show, the annual Pebble Beach Food & Wine and the Swallows Invitational golf tournament, as well as contributions from individuals.
The generosity of our partners and individual donors makes a significant difference in the lives of Monterey County children and the health of our region.
In 2016, Pebble Beach Company Foundation funded approximately 85 programs educational programs impacting the lives of more than 10,000 children in Monterey County.
For over 60 years the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance has been regarded the world’s premier exhibition of collector automobiles. And since its inception in 1950, this annual event has also raised more than $23 Million for Monterey County charities, including Pebble Beach Company Foundation.
The Foundation also oversees the Phil Hill Scholarship program. The Phil Hill scholarships were established in 2009 to honor the memory of Phil Hill, America’s first Formula One driving champion and a long-time participant and friend of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
The grants are intended to encourage the ongoing preservation and restoration of historic automobiles by supporting students in automotive arts and technical programs.
Pebble Beach Food & Wine is the premier epicurean lifestyle event on the West Coast. It pairs 250 acclaimed wineries and 100 celebrity chefs for an unforgettable four-day culinary event at one of the most picturesque locations in the world. Part of the proceeds from this annual signature event goes to Pebble Beach Company Foundation.
Each year, a select group of corporate executives and celebrities are invited to play in Pebble Beach Company’s annual Swallows Invitational. The Foundation receives a portion of the entry fee for the tournament, as well as individual donations from Swallows participants.
In addition to our ongoing partnerships, the Pebble Beach Company Foundation has continuously invested in the youth of Monterey County thanks to personal gifts from those simply looking to foster the community around them.
Children who have exposure to a wide range of educational experiences are more engaged in learning. The richer a child’s experience, the more prepared he or she is to succeed. Since 1975, more than 10,000 children in Monterey County have been positively impacted through our fundraising efforts.
