APRIL Events Since 1950, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance has gathered rare and antique automobiles, international automotive luminaries, and motorcar enthusiasts from around the globe. “The Concours was founded to celebrate the greatest cars in the world, but from its start, it also sought to raise money to help others. I’m proud to note that together we have now raised over $27 million for charity — all of which stays in Monterey County.” – Sandra Button, Chairman PEBBLE BEACH FOOD & WINE During Pebble Beach Food & Wine, the Foundation holds an opportunity drawing called Sips and Trips that offers exceptional wine and exclusive wine country getaways. Funds raised from the drawing support Pebble Beach Company Foundation programs and scholarships. “Literacy is the foundation of the future for our children. The event raises funds to support the Foundation’s youth programs and scholarships benefiting Monterey County youth. “ Hickory Sticks is one of the most festive, fun-filled days of the year at Pebble Beach. It pays homage to the heritage of the game with the old-fashioned equipment and period attire, but it also brings a light competition with plenty of laughter that is open to anyone who wants to play golf and have a good time.
