The pandemic caused a tremendous amount of stress, uncertainty and challenges across the globe and locally in our community. However, thanks to our generous donors, the Foundation was able to grow its giving to a record amount in order to meet the unprecedented demand for assistance. Whether it was direct COVID-19 Relief, Community Aid or Youth Education, the Foundation made total grants of $2.6 million to organizations and individuals throughout Monterey County. In addition to the record giving amount, the Foundation also ended the year with $20.2 million in net assets. The unwavering commitment and generosity of our donors assures the Foundation will play a significant role to further Youth Education for years to come, pandemic or not!
