David College: Tulane University Degree: Master of Architecture For the past 10 years, I’ve been building my textile-design studio in Chicago, working with weavers in Nepal to produce handmade custom-designed rugs for residences across the country. I’ve enjoyed expanding my pattern-design vocabulary to include wall coverings, tile patterns, commercial-scale carpeting and art installations. Organization: CHISPA College: Hartnell College Career Goal: Veterinarian Ali A first-generation college student, Ali plans to transfer to UC Davis or Texas A&M University to complete her BS and then attend veterinary school after graduation. After finishing her education, Ali wants to purchase land to establish a home clinic that focuses on fostering animals.
