This innovative educational model helps students rediscover a love of learning and realize their full potential. The school's 100% college acceptance rate is a testament to its rigorous academic standards and student-centered philosophy. The school commits in excess of $1 million annually to need-based financial aid to make a Chartwell education available to the greatest number of children with learning differences. Since 1989, Pebble Beach Company Foundation has granted to Chartwell to provide financial assistance to Monterey County students who might not otherwise have access to this specialized education. This award-winning multicultural arts center offers free and low-cost arts-based classes and events to many families who would otherwise not be able to afford them. The aim of Palenke Arts is to address the issue of inequity in the arts by infusing the programs with high-interest, culturally relevant offerings that are accessible for everyone. One of its standout programs is Ballet Folklórico, providing youth of all ages with the opportunity to explore and perform traditional Mexican folk dance. Students learn regional dances from across Mexico and perform in five major annual community events showcasing vibrant costumes and traditions. These performances not only celebrate heritage but also promote cultural understanding across generations in the local community. By making arts education accessible and culturally relevant, Palenke Arts’ Ballet Folklórico program nurtures identity, creativity and community connection. It stands as a testament to the power of traditional arts in uplifting and uniting diverse communities. who we fund $2M in funding $19.2M in funding 1,900+ Awards 114 Organizations 335 Organizations 161k Youth served 2024 Grant Stats 50 Year Grant Stats Annual Impact Report 7
