Spyglass Hill Golf CourseA treasure, rated one of world's toughest golf coursesLegend has it that Robert Louis Stevenson roamed these hills and sandy dunes of Pebble Beach for inspiration while writing his classic Treasure Island. With this in mind, course designer Robert Trent Jones Sr. set about creating a treasure of his own at Spyglass Hill Golf Course. Each hole at Spyglass Hill bears a Stevenson-inspired name: Billy Bones, Black Dog, Skeleton Island and Long John Silver. Arrgh! The course itself is nothing short of spectacular and is a true test of swashbuckling power and finesse.
