Our Grantees

Foundation Programs

Children who have exposure to a wide range of educational experiences are more engaged in learning. The richer a child’s experience, the more prepared he or she is to succeed. This is why our Foundation annually supports approximately 50 educational programs throughout Monterey County that span the arts, sciences, sports, and technology.

Grantees include community nonprofit organizations, public schools, and private educational institutions.

Supported Programs

  • The Arts. Art, music instruction, music outreach, orchestra, photography, poetry, and theater
  • The Community. After-school programs, community learning programs, facility improvements, financial aid and gifted student programs
  • Literacy. Reading programs and public libraries
  • Sciences. Agricultural studies, ecoliteracy, lab equipment, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary
