The Scholarship Academy is the signature scholarship program of the Pebble Beach Company Foundation. The Foundation understands education changes lives and, by doing so, builds a stronger community and a better future. The Scholarship Academy provides broad-based educational assistance through scholarships and financial aid. Our funding focuses on two areas — community scholarships and scholarships for children of Pebble Beach Company employees.
We currently fund scholarships and financial aid from the pre-kindergarten to post-graduate levels. We accept applications from Monterey County schools and youth-focused nonprofits, which provide program-related monetary support to those who would not otherwise have access to these programs.
The Pebble Beach Company Foundation Scholars Program began in 1995, and today it is one of the most valuable benefits for employees whose children are entering college.
Through the generosity of our partners and donors, Pebble Beach Company Foundation can contribute to dozens of Monterey County programs each year. Here are just a few of the organizations we are proud to support.
A non-profit theater arts program for children, ARIEL Theatrical helps children develop communication, problem solving and time management skills through theater productions. ARIEL also operates summer theater camps for dozens of children of all ages.
The Community Partnership for Youth provides a safe place for children to explore their potential. For more than 17 years this innovative organization has provided thousands of children with after-school tutoring, leadership and life skills training, enrichment classes, computer labs and consistent support from staff.
The Foundation is proud to have continuously supported the Monterey Bay Aquarium since its inception in 1984. The mission of this world-class institution is to inspire conservation of the oceans through educational programs for youth and others.
This non-profit organization inspires and challenges students to high levels of musical achievement. Its Youth and Honors Orchestra and South County Strings programs serve approximately 250 students annually, providing music instruction, academic support and affordable instrument rental.
