What are room and golf booking guidelines for individual travelers?

Guests of The Lodge at Pebble Beach and The Inn at Spanish Bay may book rooms up to 18 months in advance. Guests of Casa Palmero may book up to 12 months in advance, subject to availability. We recommend booking early to reserve your favorite accommodations, amenities and activities.

The following Golf Booking Guidelines are subject to availability:

  • Hotel guests are encouraged to request golf tee times at the time of room booking.
  • A minimum stay is required to play Pebble Beach Golf Links. Please inquire about the minimum stay requirements for playing multiple rounds.
  • On all other courses, 1 round may be booked per night of stay.
  • Up to 2 players may be booked per room, based on room occupancy.
  • Non-Resort guests may book The Links at Spanish Bay or Del Monte Golf Course up to 6 months in advance, Spyglass Hill Golf Course up to 3 months in advance and Pebble Beach Golf Links 1 day in advance.
  • A minimum stay is required for any weekend stay. Please inquire at time of booking.

What is the cancellation policy?

A deposit equal to two nights stay is required at the time of booking. Cancellations for both rooms and golf must be made at least 14 days prior to arrival. Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to arrival or play will be charged the full deposit.

Where can I purchase a gift card?

Gift cards are available for purchase on the Pebble Beach Shop Online website. Gift cards may be applied at any Pebble Beach Resorts property including hotels, golf courses, restaurants, shops and The Spa at Pebble Beach. For more information and assistance ordering, please contact Customer Service at [email protected].


What are the busiest months at Pebble Beach Resorts?

April through November is the busiest period. The Lodge at Pebble Beach, The Inn at Spanish Bay and Casa Palmero are year-round resorts.


How far apart are the resorts?

The Lodge at Pebble Beach and Casa Palmero are adjacent to one another; The Inn at Spanish Bay is approximately 7 miles away (10 minutes by car).


Are there ATMs located throughout the resort?

Two ATMs are located throughout the resort for any cash withdrawal needs. One is located at Pebble Beach Golf Links Pro Shop and the other is located inside The Inn at Spanish Bay by Traps.


What is the best way to get from one course to another?

Courtesy shuttles are available to transport guests between the resorts and the golf courses.


What kind of weather should I expect?

The average high temperatures at Pebble Beach range from 58-70 degrees Fahrenheit year-round, but can vary throughout the day. Mornings can be foggy; afternoons are often warmer. It is best to dress in layers and carry a water-resistant wind shirt or jacket. It rarely rains in the summer — the average rainfall from May through September is less than 1 inch combined.


What is the pet policy at Pebble Beach Resorts?

Dogs are welcome at The Lodge. A $150 per room per night fee will be assessed. Dogs are also welcome at dining facilities with outdoor patio dining areas at both The Lodge and The Inn. Dogs must remain on leash or in a kennel, and are not permitted in any indoor portion of a restaurant.

Service animals are permitted in all indoor and outdoor facilities at the resorts.

How can I play Pebble Beach Golf Links?

Pebble Beach Golf Links is open to the public. In fact, it’s been unanimously rated the No. 1 Public Course in the Country. All guests of Pebble Beach Resorts can reserve a tee time at Pebble Beach Golf Links up to 18 months in advance, subject to minimum stay requirements. Non-guests can only reserve tee times 24 hours in advance.

What is the best way to get from one course to another?

What is the golf dress code?

At all golf facilities except The Hay, which has no firm dress code, guests are asked to wear a golf shirt and equivalent outerwear. Both shorts and pants are welcome, so long as they are not denim, cargo, or sweats.


What kind of spikes are recommended?

Soft spikes are recommended, but not required.


Should I take a caddie or a cart?

Because Pebble Beach Golf Links offers what is regarded as perhaps the greatest walk on Earth, we suggest a caddie. As course experts, Pebble Beach caddies can help you read greens and judge yardages, as well as share stories on the rich history of Pebble Beach. If you choose to take a golf cart at Pebble Beach or Spyglass Hill, it must always remain on the path. The Links at Spanish Bay and Del Monte Golf Course allow carts on fairways when turf conditions permit.

Are we able to walk the golf course even if we are not playing golf?

Out of consideration of our golfers and your safety, non-playing guests must stay on the cart path and are only permitted to walk the
golf courses before or after play. Dogs must remain leashed at all times. Guests wishing to access the course should check-in at the
pro shop first for help determining if access is safe and available.


Am I allowed to follow paying golfers as a spectator even if I am not playing?

Yes, spectators are allowed to join paying golfers with adherence to the following guidelines:
o Guests wishing to access the course should check-in at the pro shop first for help determining if access is safe and available
o Spectators are required to use a golf cart and will be charged a cart fee
o Maximum of four carts per tee time allowed
o Children under the age of 7 are not allowed to accompany spectators on the golf course
o Spectators that negatively impact pace of play or the experience of other golfers may be asked to return to the clubhouse


What are my options if there is inclement weather on my scheduled day of play?

Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill Golf Course, and The Links at Spanish Bay have a year-round 14-day cancellation policy. Del
Monte Golf Course and The Hay have a year-round 3-day cancellation policy. Exceptions to these policies will only be considered on
the day of play. All guest inquiries regarding inclement weather will be directed to pro shop staff for immediate assistance. Options
will be determined by pro shop staff based on the most current course conditions.


Can I bring a personal cooler with me on the course?

In compliance with Alcohol Beverage Control Regulation (#23402), personal coolers or outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted.

What airports are close to Pebble Beach?

There are several. Twenty minutes from Pebble Beach Resorts is the Monterey Peninsula Airport, which serves most large carriers. In addition, San Jose International Airport is about 90 minutes north, while San Francisco International Airport is about 2 hours north.

How much does it cost to enter 17-Mile Drive?

Admission for day guests is $12 per vehicle. The gate fee can be reimbursed with a purchase of $35 or more at all Pebble Beach Resorts restaurants, excluding the Pebble Beach Market. Admission into 17-Mile Drive is complimentary for overnight guests of The Lodge, The Inn, and Casa Palmero.


When is 17-Mile Drive Open?

The 17-Mile Drive gates are open to the public from sunrise to sunset. Hours are subject to change during certain special events such as the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Please note that motorcycles are prohibited.
