This unique pro-junior event has been a circled event on the PGA TOUR Champions schedule since 2004.
“Ask anyone,” says 2011 U.S. Senior Open Champion Olin Browne. “It’s our favorite tournament of the year. These kids have so much enthusiasm, and their enthusiasm is infectious.”
The PURE Insurance Championship Impacting First Tee has been played at Pebble Beach Golf Links since 2004. Each foursome in this special event includes a PGA TOUR Champions pro (ages 50 and over), a First Tee junior (ages 14 to 18) and two amateurs.

2025 Recap: Doug Barron wins the PURE Insurance Championship by one
Doug Barron collected his fourth career PGA TOUR Champions win on the strength of thirty-six consecutive bogey-free holes at Pebble Beach Golf Links. Barron charged to the clubhouse lead closing with three consecutive birdies on Sunday, leaving him at 12-under.
Both Vijay Singh and Steven Alker had chances to force a playoff with birdies at the last, but it was Barron’s day, the win coming after a strong showing last year at Pebble Beach when he finished in a share of third.
