The Halocline × Hippo Campus We were driving down the freeway through Monterey, CA trying to figure out what to do for the day when my father mentioned something about “the most beautiful drive in America.” He told us about this small private road near Monterey you could pay to drive on that goes along the coast. I was very sceptical about my father’s claim but we made a split decision and took the exit to check it out. Needless to say it was the best decision during the entire trip. As we went back and forth from being exposed to the coast to being covered by the ancient looking trees with the setting sun shining through, it became clear to me that my father was more than right; this was the most beautiful drive I’d ever been on. #yespebblebeach
